The full story of “Chrysalis” revolves around Nalan, a 25-year-old woman who is the sole child of the Ipekoglu family. Her upbringing has been devoid of affection because she lives under the strict control of her 70-year-old grandmother, Feride. Feride is known for her conservative beliefs and obsessions. Nalan’s mother passed away during childbirth, and Feride took on the responsibility of raising Nalan, which has created a simmering resentment between the two.
Nalan obediently follows Feride’s rules and works as an interior architect at the Koroglu company. Destiny brings her into the path of Sedat Koroğlu, the heir of the influential Koroglu family, who is involved in a secret relationship with Cana. Their fates become intertwined, marking the start of a new chapter.
Rafet Koroglu, Sedat’s father, is on the hunt for a suitable bride, and Nalan emerges as the perfect candidate. However, as Sedat’s hidden romance with Cana continues, he hesitates. Cana manipulates him into agreeing to the marriage, claiming that it will divert attention away from their affair.
Under pressure, Sedat introduces Nalan as a potential spouse. Despite initial hopes, past secrets resurface, casting them into the shadows. Nalan becomes increasingly dissatisfied with her marriage due to the lack of warmth in their relationship.
