House of Zwide 3 Full Story, Plot Summary, Episodes, Casts, Teasers: Rhythm City is saying its goodbyes after 14 years, but don’t worry! House of Zwide is stepping in on July 19, 2021, to keep the entertainment rolling.
This new soapie follows a fashionable family in Joburg who run one of South Africa’s biggest fashion houses. But before the drama begins, let’s meet the House of Zwide characters and get the scoop on the essential details.
House of Zwide 3 Full Story
Funani and Faith Zwide lead the fast-growing House of Zwide fashion and textile empire. Back in the early days, Faith, who used to be Funani’s secretary, had a romantic thing going on with him. The trouble started when Funani’s wife, Busi, found out about their affair. Faith tried to explain and say sorry, but it ended up in a big fight.
During the heated argument, Faith, all panicked, used scissors to harm Busi, and it sadly led to Busi’s death. In her distress, Faith reached out to Isaac, a hitman and her ex-boyfriend. Isaac, still having feelings for Faith, agreed to help her out.
They planned to set the house on fire with Busi inside, making it look like she died in the fire. After Faith left, Isaac went ahead with the plan. Little did he know, Nkosi and Zobuhle, Funani’s children, were inside. Isaac heard Zobuhle’s baby crying and decided to raise her as his own, naming her Onalerona.
Years later, Onalerona dreams of becoming a top designer, not knowing her past is about to catch up. Season 2 dives into the lives of the Zwide and Molapo families. Funani wants revenge, Ona struggles with her identity, and a new rival, Alex Khodzi, aims to bring Funani down. Funani divorces Faith, leaving her in poverty, but Faith moves in with Shoki and Soka to reclaim her lavish lifestyle.

Season 3 starts with the Zwide family mourning the loss of their son, Senzo Zwide. Faith and Funani can’t accept the reality. Meanwhile, Molefe gets news of impending fatherhood, and the Zwide family faces a new enemy, Nandipha Khadzi, seeking revenge for her brother Alex Khadzi’s death.
