Bayram and his closest friend, Salih, were inseparable, having grown up together in Işıklar near Mudanya. Their bond was unbreakable, like that of brothers. When they were kids, they made a heartfelt promise to each other that they would use their wisdom to resolve any conflicts that might arise between their future children.

As the years passed, Bayram and Salih found themselves living in different cities, while their own children, Melek and Kerim, grew up and came of marriageable age.

Despite his thriving business and financial success in Istanbul, Bayram never forgot the pledge he made with Salih. When Kerim graduated from college, he decided it was time to fulfill that promise. Bayram took Kerim back to Işıklar Village, where Salih still lived with his two daughters, Hülya and Melek. Salih, too, remained true to their childhood vow.

With Bayram’s return to the village, the two friends finalized the arrangements for their children’s wedding. However, they soon realized that over the years, Melek, Kerim, Hülya, and Salih had developed their own lives, dreams, and even new loves. The idea of an arranged marriage didn’t sit well with them, so they decided to have an open and honest conversation to address the situation and come up with solutions that would make everyone more comfortable.

But there was one crucial factor they hadn’t taken into account – Hülya had her own secret plans that were already in motion, setting the stage for unexpected twists and turns in their story.
