In 2000, after a brief stint in the music industry, he transitioned into acting by joining the cast of the telenovela “La casa en la playa” as Romualdo. This role garnered attention and opened doors for other acting opportunities.
The following year, in 2001, he portrayed Cástulo in “Sin pecado concebido.”
His big break came in 2002 when he secured his first leading role in “Salomé” as José Julián, which earned him two award nominations. That same year, he became part of the cast of “Las vías del amor.”
In 2003, he starred in “Amar otra vez” alongside Irán Castillo and Valentino Lanús. He also made his film debut in “Desnudos” in 2004.

Castillo’s passion for acting ignited at a young age, initially leading her to pursue classical and jazz dance. She embarked on her journey by enrolling at the Centro de Educación Artística of Televisa, where she dedicated three years to her studies and graduated in 2003. Almost immediately after her graduation, she earned recognition as “Chica E! Entertainment.”
In 2003, she received the title of “El rostro de El Heraldo” and became the face of the Acapulco Festival. During the same year, she took on the role of Camila in the telenovela “Clap, el lugar de tus sueños,” although she had already made appearances in other telenovelas like “Mi destino eres tú,” “Las vías del amor,” and the series “Mujer, casos de la vida real.” Upon completing her part in “Clap, el lugar de tus sueños,” she shifted her focus towards musical theater.
In 2005, Castillo ventured into the film industry with a role in “Corazón marchito,” which premiered in 2007. In 2006, she joined the cast of “Cabaret” as a dancer and also auditioned for Nacho Cano’s musical production, “Hoy no me puedo levantar,” where she secured the lead role of María. She made a brief appearance in the telenovela “La fea más bella.”
