The River 6 Full Story, Plot Summary, Episodes, Casts, Teasers: “The River” is a gripping tale that revolves around Khanyisa Diamond, who happens to be the owner of a diamond mine. This story unfolds the extraordinary lengths she is ready to go to safeguard her family and uphold her lavish lifestyle.

Khanyisa, also known as Lindiwe, is married to Zweli Dikana, who serves as the provincial police commissioner. Together, they are proud parents to Andile and Mbali Dikana, while Lindiwe also takes on the role of a stepmother to Nomonde Dikana. The Dikana family resides in a magnificent mansion in Pretoria East, South Africa.

In the township of Refilwe, where Khanyisa Diamonds is situated, the community consists of underprivileged residents, many of whom are employed at the mine. The Mokoena family, led by Malefu Mokoena, resides in Refilwe along with her children – Thuso, Dimpho, and Itumeleng. Notably, Itumeleng is the only adopted child in the family, a secret closely guarded by Malefu. She was discovered as a baby near a river and was adopted by her late father, Thato Mokoena.

“The River” is a South African telenovela created by Phathu Makwarela and Gwydion Beynon. This show is produced by Tshedza Pictures for M-Net and airs on the 1Magic channel on DStv.
