Zümrüt is a young and hardworking woman. That takes care of her sick father, her mother, and her two siblings. She works for the powerful Demirkan family and carries a heavy burden.
She is always looking for happiness, but her journey is complicated by the web of lies, betrayal, and hidden secrets within the Demirkan dynasty. All of this happens as she tries to find true and unconditional love.
Adil Demirkan loves Zümrüt deeply, but she only sees him as a brotherly figure. Her heart belongs to Serhat, who is Adil’s nephew, although she doesn’t know it.
Zümrüt and Serhat plan to get married once he finishes his military service. However, her world falls apart when she learns about his supposed death while serving his country. Convinced that Serhat has passed away, Zümrüt gives in to the growing pressure from her mother, who wants her to accept the romantic advances of the wealthy Adil.
